I hate to say it, but this is actually a sales pitch from me! And although I will make money for the sale, I sure wouldn't mention it to my friends if I didn't think it was a really great deal for some folks.

I've just started working for a prescription coverage plan through National Health Care Discount. They are fully reputable--you can check out their website at www.themedicinecounter.com and/or call the Better Business Bureau to check them out (the number is 1---they will ask for the company phone number, which is 1-).

Who this is a really good deal for is older people or anyone who is taking prescription medicine daily ESPECIALLY if it is still protected by patent (in other words, no generic available.) While you can use the card and get a discount averaging 30% at most local pharmacies or using Walmart's mail pharmacy program, the really big savings come by getting the medicine directly through Canada (unopened--sealed by the manufacturer). Canada charges a LOT less and sometimes the savings are 70% or more (depends on the medicine).

The cost is only $85 a year and it covers your entire family (so if there are two older or ill people, the saving is even better). I think it's a heck of a deal--I've checked on my psychiatric meds, my Mom and Dad's meds, and some of the diabetic meds. All the discounts are really good--Aricept, for example, is $50 less per 30 pills.

Anyhow, just wanted to let you know and, yes, wanted you to see if you know of anyone who might benefit from this. No hustle intended--hope no one gets upset by this. It just seems like a good deal to me and I'd like to make some money on it too!

If you or someone you know is interested, they can email me or phone me or whatever--or I'll write or phone them--and I can give them detailed info. My email is CashelRose@... and my phone number is 1-. Thanks for reading this, guys, I appreciate it!
