Guest guest Posted April 18, 2001 Report Share Posted April 18, 2001 Beth: I called the surgeons office again and demanded to speak to Ivonne. She claimed some BS. It is rediculous and not fair. It's like they perform the surgery and that's all. Ivonne gave me her direct voice mail number which I did not have. Often when you call the 241-3699 number, no one answers or you get put on hold forever. This was infuriating. But at least now I can leave Ivonne a message. She said that if you call before noon she'll get back to you that day. I think there is an emergency option on her voice mail too. Be prepared for mt. Sinai or any hospital for that matter. The thing is, if I didnt have my family there, I would not have known this was sub par. I have never had surgery or been in a hospital before. Good Luck!
