Guest guest
Hi SCDers,I'm wondering if anyone here is familiar with the Lactate/Pyruvate Ratio (measured via blood test) and it's relationship to Gluten intolerance and/or Mitochondrial Disorders.I am having a bout of myositis (muscle inflammation) which may or may not be related to a recent gluten challenge. Also, during the same period, blood tests came back with a Lactate/Pyruvate imbalance. My doc is on vacation and I am trying to learn more about this on my own...thought maybe someone here knew something about this.I plan to go back on the SCD following this challenge, though that may not be sufficient to treat the blood result findings.Any information appreciated. Thanks in advance,Nina in MAHypopituitarismSjogren's SyndromePossible CeliacSCD: almost two years
