I take 200 mg of Elevil at bedtime, it dont' take the pain away all together but it lessions the intensity of the pain. and as far as the SSD. yes please get the process started, and you don't have to leave your home to do it. can file over the phone and even get a phone appt. It took me just about 10months to get my SSD started. they wanted info , info . and wanted me to start on the chemo and wait 3 months to see if it help before they would go any furthere with the process. it was a very long process and works on your nerves. But please get your SSD.
