And as far as having doctors in my family, I did not wear a sign stating this. having doctors in my family did help me get what I needed because my sister would go out and take a thermometer and take a spigomometer (sp) to take my vitals. She drained my drains and recorded the levels and she emptied my " hat " and recorded my urine levels. Oh, also, when they stopped my IV fluids at 7am one morning, my sister disconnected the IV from me at 8am when she visited. A nurse came in at dinner time to do that (6 pm). Can you imagine having to spend 11 hrs with that thing attached for no reason! Thank God again for my little sister!
