Guest guest
Jodi, I will be happy to send you some grains; I think about $5 will cover the cost of postage to New York if standard post office shipment is acceptable. If you prefer another method of shipment, I can find out the faster rates. But no charge for the kefir. It is the kefir code of honor. Spread around this great health boon as far and wide and as free as possible. I have no idea what my strain contains. I could send you enough that you can have it tested. I got a start-over batch recently from a raw milk goat farmer in the Mid West. It has done great wonders for me, but as I am learning from this list, we are all so very different. Since a nanny goat in the barn yard saved me as a newborn, and I lived my early years on a diet based on her milk with chocolate in it as a treat, I still get along just fine with bitter chocolate, even though it is illegal. I do not recommend it for others! Let me know what I can do. I do not have resources for lab testing of anything. I just try everything and go with what works. :-) Ann Ann > > Ann, > > I want to eventually try making Kefir with coconut. > I just have to find a source for grains- I wonder though if it is possible to get the grains sans the bifidum species in it? > > Jodi >
