Good Morning everyone

My brother is having surgery this coming friday with Dr Anthone.

We have to go on thursday to meet with at 7am for consents I suppose , will they be drawing more blood tommorow as well ???

My brother is very worried about the fact that they saw a kidney stone when they did his ultrasound. So we are gonna talk to Dr Anthone about that , I wonder if they will give him medication to dissolve it or I wonder if Dr A can remove it during surgery ?

Poor guy he is so worried that while he is recovering , with his open incision , that the kidney stone is gonna decide to travel its way down , and then he's gonna be in excruciating pain.... Well if it does at least he will still be on his epidural for pain relief , I hope :)

Love one worried sister angel

,

I'll be at USC tomorrow for radiology and cardiology. I would love to meet

you and if possible. Apparently I have to be there at 8:15 to admitting

before my 9:00 radiology appt. I'll be the hugely fat woman (helpful, huh?),

and will be with my mom who is tiny (5'1 " and non-obese).

BTW, for all of you talking about long term effects of surgery, although she

had a different wls, my mom had a jejunal bypass 25 years ago, has kept most

of the weight off, and suffers only from occasional anemia and B12

deficiency, which are easily treated. Since the DS is much improved from the

older wls, I'd say that is reassuring.
