Guest guest
I just noticed that the half and half I was buying (store brand) has some added ingredients. One of them is carageenan (sp?) which is used as a thickener but i'm pretty sure it's a starch! The other ingredients are some sodium chemical and something else which I would think are preservatives. I got a name brand half and half and it has no carageenan in it but it has the other 2 sodium things in it. When I look up the heavy cream (I want to make french cream) Every brand I have found has carageenan in it. What does everyone use for half and half? Or cream when you want to make a thick yogurt out of it? -UC - 1 yearSCD - 3.5 months 100% strict and 4 months restricted diet.Asacol - 4 pills 3 times a day - hopefully scd will help me get off these!
