Guest guest
Dear Connie et al, I've had a new word symptom come up. I'll be in the mddle of writing or printing a word, & I can't remember how to make some of the letters. Like the other day, I was trying to write "apologize." I wrote apolo without any problem, then couldn't remember how to make the g. I started to make it like a q, but I knew that wasn't right. Then I made it like a printed q & finally remembered how to make it. Now I had apologi, but couldn't remember how to make the z. Finally got the z down, but it still didn't look right to me. The whole word had scribbles & marks on it. This was a totally new symptom for me. However, I seldom write anything but grocery lists, to-do lists (Ha!), and checks. I see the doc at I.U. next Thursday; maybe he'll order a neuropsych eval. I'd really like to have one.
