Marla

Hi Marla- i am going to go back to Denver this summer

so would love to meet up with u again- Dont know when

since Nat Jewish hasnt gotten back to me yet- Eye

surgery went great- see w/o glasses for the first time

in 40 years- Matt

Matt,

I'm happy to hear they got one kidney cleared up,

sorry to hear about the other. I will pray they figure it all out, so

that they can figure out how to stop all these stones. You will be in my

prayers. I hope the eye surgery goes well for you too. I have a prayer I say every night before bed, and it

ask God to give those with pain relief, I add all you into that part

of my prayer, as I do so wish that the pain part of our disease would

just go away. So you hang in there Matt, and stay strong. I hope to go to Cailf. sometime this summer too. My

Mom moved out there and is living with my brother in Santa Clarita

Valley just North of L.A. she will be 85 in Aug. so I am hoping to get

there for that.

Take care Matt, know you have angels watching over

you.

God Bless,

Marla

Hi Everyone - I had the stint taken out today and

they said there were no more signs of

kidney stones in my right one but that i now had 4

in my left kidney- The doc told me they

were inbeded in the wall of the kidneyso they

shouldnt cause any pain unless they moved-

they will moitor them and will also run some tests

to see if htey can find out what is causing

the sudden outbreak of stones- They want me to have

the eye surgery first before they start

to work on the new kidney stones- that surgery is

next thursday- Mom and i are postponing

our trip to Cal a few weeks untill i am more able

to travel- Matt

Rose-you are correct they want to operate on my blind

eye because the pressure keeps going up on that one

they are worried it could pop and cause major

problems- at least after this i hope there will be no

more- Matt

Matt, you must be thrilled--more surgery! Yay! Maybe

I've got you mixed up with someone else, but I was

thinking that you had lost the sight in one eye. I

need to keep a chart of everyone's story; I keep

getting them confused.

Hi- Went to the eye doc on Fri- said my surgery went

well but that they now feel that they

need to do my right eye as the pressure keeps going up

and down- they want to do it

sometime next week-everything else is going ok- my mom

and i are replaning our trip to

California , we hope to go in June now- am also not

going to move in wiht my moms house

right now either- doctor feels that since u have to

take a ferry back and forth and they dont

run late nite that if there was an emergency it would

be a problem-right now u have to have

a helicopter pick u up off the island in an emergency

and bring u to Seattle when the ferry

isnt running-

Matt,

Are they doing a laser surgery on this eye or a retro-bulbar injection where they inject alcohol into the nerve and deaden it so that you don't have any more pain?

I do hope that they can restore some vision in it-- that would be wonderful. We sure don't know how much we have until we start losing it-- whatever the health issue is. .

Best wishes- you'll be in our thoughts and prayers Wednesday.

Matt...my prayers are with you. When you are able I'd like to hear how the surgery went. I have glacoma would like to know what surgery was done. I am scheduled for the first catarat surg later ths month, but glacoma surgery has not been mentioned....

I will be praying for a miracle for you and that some of your sight can be restored.

Hi- saw my eye doc today- said everything is all right- no more surgeries for at

least the

time being- my mom and i have decieded to go back east this fall instead of Cal-

will go to

Boston to visit my sister and then Conn to visit my relatives and then up to our

farm in New

hampshire- if i remember correctly there is someone who posts from NH and if so

would u

be interested in meeting- I will then go visit my friends in New Jersey then

return to Seattle-

We hope to go the middle of Sept. My mom wants me to fly with her this time

instead of

taking the train so i am going to do a test flight to portland Oregon to see if

my ears will pop

or not- had tubes put into them and will see how they work on that flight- if

they dont work i

will take the train and meet her in Boston like i have done i the past-Matt
