Guest guest
I swear, I was forgetful (at times) before surgery but after surgery...if it isn't in my Palm Pilot and beeping at me, I forget everything. I sure hope that changes! Anyone else experience concentrating difficulties and forgetfulness? I forgot 3 appointments yesterday. How bad is that? I feel frazzled at most times. I guess maybe I just have too much going on. Also, I've heard that actual hunger doesn't come back to people until like 4-6 months (or so I've heard) but let me tell you, at 5 weeks, I get hungry and I don't think it is head hunger because it is about 3 hours after I eat a meal. My stomach growls and I physically feel ill. 4-6 hours between meals is tough sometimes. Sometimes I have a popsicle or some protein soup that I have that is pretty low calorie. Guest guest
Tina, I went in spirts post surgery where for a long time I was not hungry and then one day I was starving. I stuck to the three meal thingie but boy it was hard. That lasted for probably two weeks and then I went back to not being hungry. I still experience that here and there but at this point, I am back to not being hungry. Its a cycle I suppose. At least you did the smart thing and has something with protein and not a bunch of carbs. Good going Tina! Hang in there.
