Guest guest
I swear, I was forgetful (at times) before surgery but after surgery...if it isn't in my Palm Pilot and beeping at me, I forget everything. I sure hope that changes! Anyone else experience concentrating difficulties and forgetfulness? I forgot 3 appointments yesterday. How bad is that? I feel frazzled at most times. I guess maybe I just have too much going on. Also, I've heard that actual hunger doesn't come back to people until like 4-6 months (or so I've heard) but let me tell you, at 5 weeks, I get hungry and I don't think it is head hunger because it is about 3 hours after I eat a meal. My stomach growls and I physically feel ill. 4-6 hours between meals is tough sometimes. Sometimes I have a popsicle or some protein soup that I have that is pretty low calorie. Guest guest
I sure hope mine goes in spurts and I lose the " hunger " soon! It's a drag. I don't FEEL like eating...just stomach growls and I feel ill. Weird! Thanks Pam! Guest guest
Anesthesia and all of the stress of surgery can make a sane person crazy --- just give yourself a little room and relax --- it all gets better!
