What if our insurance won't pay?

Here is my dilemma: I have called several surgeons in the Toledo, Ohio area.

I have Paramont Elite and was told they will NOT cover any type of WLS. I had

medicare before (as I am on disability). Does medicare pay for this? Would I

have been better off with Medicare or is there another avenue I could persue?

I am sure the advice you will give will benefit many " lurkers " on this group

who have not had the surgery yet because of insurance problems.
