I just had my DS there 3 weeks ago. I can't say enough good things about both Dr. Macura or S. I . University.

I have a problem with memory, but I believe Dr. M was originally trained in Europe. He has been doing WLS for over 10 years. A friend of mine had a RNY by him over 7 years ago. I believe he has been doing the open DS for about 4 years. My operation went very smoothly and I was surprised that my scar was only about 6 inches. I've seen some pictures on the WLS site that must be twice as long.

The hospital is great too. If you are from out of town they even have their own hotel that is very reasonably priced.
