Removing other body parts during surgery

Liane, you make a good point about the reasons for having gall bladder

and appendix removed during surgery. I already had a lap gallbladder

removal, but I still have my appendix and ovaries. I was pre meno when I

had a vaginal hysterectomy and I got to keep the healthy ovaries.

I think I'll see if Dr. does the appendix and perhaps ovary

removal during surgery. My ins company will probably call it cosmetic

surgery and won't pay for it.

Something else to consider.
