Guest guest
Many of you receiving this will wonder why the heck I've sent it to you. Insurances generally follow Medicare guidelines when it comes to the benefits we receive. Medicare is asking our Senate to pass a bill that would eliminate "Well care." That means our Paps, Mammograms, Prostate checks, Flu and Pneumonia vacines." Please, the site below is one that I get as a disabled Union Worker. It is an open site. They have a form letter that you can send directly to your state Senator. (This letter is set up to go to Barbara Boxer in California.) Please-- request that SB 1955 be vetoed. It is so very important--for all of us, that this bill not go thru. Our current and future health care is changing--and if we can prevent catastrophic events thru preventive care-- costs will be lower than to wait for the emergency, and try to save lives then-- doesn't make sense. With love to all, Tracie .. Tell Your Senator to Vote NO on S. 1955 S. 1955 would allow health insurers to bypass state requirements for minimum benefits. That means it could eliminate key benefits in your coverage, including cancer screenings, contraception, emergency services, mental health care and diabetic supplies.
