RETURNING TO WORK

Hi Group,

I have read some posts asking how long it took to go back to work,

etc... I was working at home on my computer part-time for a few hours

a day starting on the 6th day post-op. I went back to my office full-

time (I have a desk job) 11 days post-op. I felt fine other than

being a little more tired than usual. My surgery was lap and I had

no complications. I also had no nausea and was eating and drinking

fairly well at the time. From my observations, I think post-ops feel

better sooner if their bodies are able to tolerate sufficient amounts

of liquids and food. When I asked my surgeon about returning to

work, she told me that she does have other patients that were able to

go back to their office a week after surgery.
