Guest guest
No I'm not a lunatic. My grandson helped me put the first computer together (thanks to my brother for lending it to me) & helped me install AOL. It was getting late & everytime I tried to get a screen name I thought I could remember it was taken & I was getting silly. The local radio station I listen to calls themselves the " lunatic fringe of America FM " so I was teasing my grandson & tried grannylunatic & wouldn't you know it that one was free. You're right I don't have a bridge to sell. Wouldn't know how much it would be worth anyway. grannylunatic@... __________________________________________________
Guest guest
, when I first got online 8-9 yrs. ago, I picked mamadog (@iquest) after luvadog & similar choices were taken (who wouldve thought?). Anyway, last summer when my friend's son helped me finally get DSL hooked up & I decided to change to Hotmail (big mistake in my experience), I requested mamadog@hotmail & was told it was taken. I couldn't believe it! So I used mamadogrose (AT) hotmail (DOT) Later I was talking to my cousin in San Diego who comes to Indiana every summer to visit, and when I told her about it, she said, "You idiot! That's you! That's the name you picked when I set up a Hotmail account for you several summers ago!" Of course, I had no idea what the password would have been. I've been through most of my favorite singers--Elvis, Buddy Holly, Como, etc.; now I'm going through the dogs--Trixie, , Pupsqueak, Pinkerton. I read where these computer experts suggest changing your password frequently & having different passwords for every account. I ask you: where am I going to hide all these passwords, and how the heck am I supposed to remember where I hid them, because I sure won't remember the passwords! I'll probably use the dogs' middle names next. Ramblin' Rose Moderator Reply-To: Neurosarcoidosis To: Neurosarcoidosis Subject: Re: J.Date: Tue, 24 Jan 2006 20:25:11 -0800 (PST)No I'm not a lunatic. Guest guest
Rose I THOUGHT I had that problem solved. I put all my different passwords & the different sized crochet hooks for projects I was working on on little index cards. First I lost half the little cards & now I don't know where the box is. LOL I can't win for losing. grannylunatic@... __________________________________________________
Guest guest
At my job the password has to change every 25 days. It has to be at least 7 characters with 2 numbers and one capitol. Yeah....I have a hard time with that one. It is crazy. I am a preschool teacher!
