Guest guest
Hello All, First off I want to say you can count me in for $10! Let's get Sandy to where she needs to go! We can do anything together! I feel VERY blessed to have had such an easy time getting to where I am.....which is surgery next Thrusday!! The time is moving by so fast! I will be leaving very early Tuesday morning to make the long drive (6 hours) to Delano. I am actually doing this surgery on the " buddy system " , a good friend of mine is having the surgery the same day!! We have been going to our pre-op appointments and evals together and it has been a wonderful support, she is just THE BEST!!! My surgery is scheduled for 7am and her's is right after me..... we plan to see who can walk down the halls the fastest after surgery! I plan to WIN! We both are going to attend the Support Group Meeting on May 8th there in Delano...we will only be about 5 days post-op....so ought to have LOTS of first hand information :>)! PLease, those of you reading this post, come and say hello and introduce yourselves, if you are pre-ops we'll gladly show you our " ouchies " and any tubes, staples etc.... we are still carrying around. I will be the one wearing the blue & white (really ugly) mumu, and probably walking gingerly! Those of you who are out of state, if you can, send us good wishes Thursday moring as we join the ranks of the Switched!!!! Guest guest
Sheri: Your day is almost here! How fun it must be to be switched with a buddy. Tell your pal " best wishes " , and can we take bets on who will win the hall race? But sincerely, its not who wins the race, its that you are up and walking that makes each of you a winner. I'll be at the May meeting, hope to meet you both and " I'll show you mine, If you'll show me yours " Jo > Hello All, > > First off I want to say you can count me in for $10!
