Marathon

Well after six months of training and logging in over 500 miles...its finally here. I will run in the San Francisco Marathon on behalf of the SF AIDS Foundation tomorrow.

I really want to thank all of you who generously donated to the cause. With your help I raised $1,755 to help fight AIDS/HIV. After the race I will again post the list of donors so that you can all be recognized as the heros you all are.

I also want to thank my pace group for all their support and companionship. ,, Pam,Cindy and ...you are all awesome and I am proud to be running along side of you!!

Francisco....what in the heck did you get me into...LOL just kidding. Thank you so much for allowing me to share this amazing accomplishment with you. Only you can understand how much this means to me.

Dr Fisher, Dr Baggs,Steve and all the Richmond Bariatric staff: Thank you for giving my life back and then some!! WLS saved my life, but your care and support helped me start living it again.

To the Kaiser support group online: YOU GUYS ROCK!! You have inspired and encouraged me all the way through. I couldnt have made it without you guys/gals. Robynn,Pam,and oh so many to name you all. Most of my contributions came from you all. But more importantly you all believed in me. When I didnt think I could do it...you did!!

To my hubby Matias who drove me to training runs each week and sat for up to 4 hours while I ran. Who rubbed down my legs when I cried in pain. Who told me how proud he was of me...I love you and thank you for supporting me in this new found life.

To my co workers, you also supported me and gave me courage to keep going.

To my friends and family, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR SUPPORT!!!

TO THE AIDS FOUNDATION: THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SHOWING ME THAT I HAD IT IN ME TO DO THIS!! Mazzen, Kurt, , : thank you for all your dedication and support. Im hoping to join you as site assistant soon!! Thank you so much for all you've done for me. OMG I DID IT!!!
