HI all, I am more of a lurker than a writer but I felt I had to put my two cents in regarding this subject. My dh is still trying to finish his 10% and I am still on the fence about having the surgery myself but we both deal with "fat rashes". Those areas where the fat and or skin hangs down gets very moist and warm as you all know. This makes the perfect breeding ground for a yeast infection. Our doc has prescribed the following since most of our rashes have turned out to be yeast. (I am not a doc and am therefore not trying to diagnose anyone) NYSTATIN 100,000/GU TOPICAL POWDER For: Mycostatin Our rashes are extremely itchy...don't know if yours are or not. I do know that if we scratch the rash and then touch another part of our body, we can spread the infection very easily. Sorry this is so long...just wanted to let everyone know in case what they are trying isn't clearing up your rash, you may need to call you doc and ask for the prescription powder.
