DON'T try pulling them out without the tool. I tried pliers, hemostats, and

tweezers. Ouch. Then I got the tool, and they came right out in less than a

minute! It was so easy, I couldn't believe it. And it didn't hurt at all.

When you say you take out your on staples do you just pull them out or do

you

need something to do this?

You've got them inside. That's what they use to seal up the two parts of

the stomach before they separate the pouch from the stomach. No, they

don't need to be removed. You don't need to even think about them, so

you don't need to try to figure out which of the staple removers at

Office Max will be needed.
