Re: I got my date!--Support groups in Sacramento Area

There are several meetings I'm aware of. You can always check our

Calendar on the Yahoo web site for the ones I'm not listing below.

I go to two groups.

(almost) Every Thursday night (7 to 9 PM) a group that calls itself

SAWSSY meets at the Raley's store at Madison & Hazel in Fair Oaks.

Tonight we will be in the Java City cafe. Next week I believe we will

be at the Raley's store on San at Sunset. This is not a Kaiser

group, but we have many members that are going through Kaiser

Every first Wednesday of the month there is a meeting at Kaiser Point

West from 7 to 9 PM. This group was STARTED by Kaiser members who had

their surgery in San Diego (Pacific Bariatrics). We now have some

Kaiser members who are going through the bay area Kaisers (Richmond,

SSF & Fremont).

There are also some Saturday meetings, but I don't go to them and I

don't keep track of the meeting times/days.
