Guest guest
Hi all you sweet angels. My sister thought it would be nice if I could post you all a note from me, so here goes. I hope I can make sense through the medication. This has been a rough road for my family & myself. I realize others have had things rougher/tougher but as you know when it is you going through it, it does seem mountainous. My sister has been printing all the messages from all of you and bringing them in for me to read. I am making a special book later on and all your messages will be included. You are all so thoughtful and I being the sensitive mushy onehas cried over so many loving words from you. Gobo-you have outdone yourself. You deserve many rubies in your crown. I cannot even begin to thank you for all you have done for me. I love you so much my friend. So many of you have sent cards, flowers, gifts, called, visited and ended up making me feel like I am the most important person in this universe. My faith in mankind has been restored. I no longer look at everything the way I use to. As a M.O. person the world has kicked me around a bit. Becuase of all you people I once again realize that the majority of this world is made up of caring and loving people like you and that only a select few make up for the ugliness. This trauma has brought a new special light, love and bond to my family. Never in life would I have thought my dear husband would so lovingly willing to wipe my tush and to bathe me. He has been my rock and out marriage has blossomed from these rough spots. I have always been the one to do it all for my husband and kids, it has been so terrific to see them rise to the occasion, take care of themselves and to help take care of me. Tomorrow theu will close my open incision. They tell me my leak at the top of my stomach is shrinking. The JP drain is what was infected. It seems to be clearing itself up along with some pnuemonia that was in my left lung. Thanks to the antibiotics. The obstruction was in my small intestine. It took my common channel from 90cm to 80cm. Everything is functioning good now. The nurses and staff here at OHSU are wonderful. They all want to know how to be more helpful to D.S. patients. I suggested they go to the www.duodenalswitch.com web site and study. They know more than most then and really see what is needed. Randy boy- your nurse Jeffifer came and took me for a shower today to wash my hair, Oh my God, did that feel good. Please continue your prayers for tomorrow, I dread going under the anethesia again. I love you all and look forward to being able to post for myself. Love you all! Angels hover ever near DEAR CYNTHIA....I HAVE BEEN FOLLOWING YOUR PROGRESS WITH BATED BREATH .....ALONG WITH ALL YOUR GOOD FRIENDS ON THE WEBSITE I WAS HAPPY TO HEAR YOU ARE DOING BETTER...YOUR SWEET MESSAGE MOVED ME TO TEARS AS I REALIZED JUST WHY SO MANY PEOPLE ARE SO CONCERNED FOR YOU. YOU ARE A VERY SPECIAL PERSON. A MILLION PRAYERS ARE BEING SENT OUT FOR YOU, AND BE ASSURED THAT ALL WILL BE WELL. BATHE IN THE HEALING WHITE LIGHT OF LOVE SINCERELY, DENISE IN NY PREOP DR.
