Guest guest
Hi , I'm the dentist on the list. With a fever and HA and white coated tongue--she could just be sick; viral infection. If it's thrush ( oral Candida (yeast)), her tongue would possibly be red with white plaques or patches, THAT WIPE OFF, with a gauze or light cotton cloth. Any rash on the rest of her body? Specifically around her trunk or privates or upper thighs? If her fever persists, she needs to be checked by her pediatrician. Please don't beat yourself up about the possibility of her eating some mold----we are meant to kill molds in our stomach. Man has been eating mold for centuries. Penicillin is mold. You have done nothing to hurt her. Also, you state the HA and fever started yesterday and she ate the muffin this am, so the timeline is wrong. If you are concerned, it's best to call her doctor to be seen. Best of luck, Terry
