He will accept self-pay if insurance will not cover and he has an arrangement with the hospital regarding caps on fees in case anything unexpected happens. He is also reasonably close to you. I have heard really mixed reports on the Toledo guy (I have a number of friends from the Ohio area) and I would be cautious about that even given the fact it is so close. A trip to Kettering would probably be very much worth your while. Best of luck with everything!
