To anyone interested..... A very interesting topic was talked about on Joyce Meyer's Enjoying Everyday Life show today. ...i.e. ... Accepting God's love and keeping journals of answered prayer and/or gratitude lists was her topic. A couple of times she brought tears to my eyes. Recently our Ron mentioned Joyce's book Approval Addiction which reminded me to read the book which I had already purchased. The book was excellent, eye-opening and freeing. A 5* book in my opinion. I am at present reading Healing is a Choice by Arterburn. It's about the mindsets or lies we get caught up in. Like thinking if we don't face our problems...they will go away.... or thinking we(God and I) can handle this alone and that we don't need anybody else. It also brings up some of the stuff people try to tell us that actually hinders our healing instead of helping

it along. It is so important to tell ourselves the 'right' stuff. This book is hard to put down or not write in. A 5plus* book ! Today I am going to start a new journal personalizing 'love' scriptures by putting my name in the place of you or me in the scripture and rereading them when i need to remind myself of God's love....like when I'm in alot of pain or a really rough spot. I think alot of my frustration and anger comes from not always believing He loves me. In fact, possibly thinking at times that He is punishing me. When I look back through my journals or posts I can actually see the battle of what I'm struggling with in my writings. It's all part of each individual's personal journey to their personal truth. Healing physically or not...I still need to work on some 'interior' stuff to find peace and acceptance. ...may we all find peace. hugs S.
