Guest guest
I guess this is getting a bit easier after a rough start. I've come up with some recipes that all 4 of my kids (3 teenagers and a 12 year old) and my husband like. This mornings winning idea was breakfast burritos. I made homemade " sausage " by mixing ground turkey with salt, garlic, basil and oregano. I cooked it in a pan, just in crumbles. (Next time I'll add onions and red peppers.) While it was cooking, I beat some eggs and made thin omlets in my 9 inch skillet. They were about the thickness of thick crepes. I turned them over to make sure they were fully cooked and ever-so-slightly browned on at least one side. Then we put some of the sausage into the omlets and wrapped them just like burritos. My 16 year old daughter said that she'd eat them every morning! We used to make them with warmed corn tortillas, to be gluten free, and now we're making them SCD legal. Sorry if this is a common thing that you all do, but it was such a hit that I was excited. Two big hits in one day is great around here!
