This will keep it away from lists where it may not be appropriate, and the intensity of the discussion would be unwelcome by some of the members. Below is the group description and subscribing info. Thanks for your time, ------------------------------------------------------- WLS Options - RNY vs. DS/BPD is to discuss the various WLS options available, particularly RNY and DS/BPD procedures. This is open to both pre-op (to help with your decision on which procedure to go with) and post-op (to share the reasons for your decision, as well as how it went and your satisfaction/dissatisfaction). The discussion between RNY and DS/BPD tends to be very emotional and sometimes heated, and this list was created as a place to voice opinions and choices - and to keep the discussion away from lists where it may not be appropriate. Please keep in mind that everyone has their own thoughts and opinions, and that one procedure is not necessarily right for everyone. Please refrain from any personal attacks on anyone else, they will not be tolerated.
