Guest guest Posted May 16, 2001 Report Share Posted May 16, 2001 The pre-op stuff like the endoscopy and the psych evaluation is really pre-pre-op. Those are the tests they need before they submit to insurance. Prior to surgery, they do more pre-op testing, or I guess it's called pre-admissions maybe. They do a chest x-ray and an EKG and take some blood and you meet with an anesthesiologist. Make sure they weigh you also, to see what your real weight is prior to surgery.
