Guest guest
Am I allowed to put oatmeal on my face? It seems okay, but I know your skin can absorb stuff so I want to be sure. Thanks! Guest guest
Hi Alyssa, What makes things illegal is when they are not digested well and end up feeding the bad bugs in our GI system- thus starting the " vicious cycle " . If it's not in our GI system- and you are not intolerant or allergic to it, then it's OK to use it on the face. Another example would be IV fluids that contain sugars. We can't eat them, but the fluid is not in the GI tract, so it would not cause the GI problems. PJ > > Am I allowed to put oatmeal on my face? Guest guest
When I was younger we used to scrub our faces with almond meal, which certainly should be legal. If you don't want anything this vigorous, what about making a mask out of almond flour? Am I allowed to put oatmeal on my face? It seems okay, but I know your skin can absorb stuff so I want to be sure.
