Guest guest
Hi all - I just spoke with Sharon's Mom and things are continuing to look good. Sharon is still running a low grade fever and they just haven't been able to figure out what is causing it. Her blood pressure is good and her heart rate is good while on the respirator. She is breathing 75% on her own, so they tried to take the respirator off and see how she'd do. Her heart rate went up, so they decided to put the respirator back on. The great news is that she is urinating and her kidneys are improving -- NO more dialysis. It sounds like things are certainly continuing on a positive path and it is so thrilling that things are going better. Sharon can nod and shake her head, squeeze your hand and move her feet. Her skin is still not in great shape from the peeling and from the reaction to the CT scan dye. But, it sure sounds much more positve than it did awhile ago. Thank you SO much for keeping those thoughts and prayers coming. And, for joining me in the 11:00 p.m. EST nightly candlelight vigils. Sharon's Mom asked that the cards be sent to her home and she will take them to read to Sharon. Since Sharon has had five different rooms in the hospital, she's afraid they might not make it to her. The cards mean a whole lot to Sharon and her Mom would feel more comfortable having them mailed directly to her to take to Sharon. It truly means more to her than you could imagine. She is SO touched by all your love and caring. Here's to improvement each day and that soon Sharon will be dancin' in the halls. =) Love, Kris G Cincinnati, Ohio5'7", 40 years old8/22 - 283 - BMI 44.303/22 - 178 - BMI 27.9ciao to 105 lbs. & 109 inches in 7 monthsOpen BPD/DS 08/22/00Dr. Maguire, Kettering OHHumanaFreedom Plus Planiwillbefit@...
