Guest guest
My son just had to start taking Cephalexin for a bug bite infection that started creeping up his arm . He's being doing so well this summer and I'm afraid of what this antibiotic will do to him. He usually does not respond well to any antibiotics. Any suggestions about what he can do to try to lessen side effects from the Cephalexin would be appreciated. He's taking it with yogurt and SCD legal probiotics. Should I put him back on the intro diet just to be safe? Thanks Caroline 21 year old son w/CD SCD since May '08 Lialda LDN
Guest guest
taking acidophilus and s boullardi??? i'd give both - can't remember now what to take at what times with antibiotics- haven't had to take them thank God - sorry to hear - hopefully with the yog and probios he'll do fine -keep them up big time at the end as it kills the bad bacteria first then will kill off your good stuff near the end of the 7-10 days etc - i would save intro to pull him out of D if he gets that etc - i don't think you should change for no reason - just my thoughts - :-) eileen 19 months scd > > My son just had to start taking Cephalexin for a bug bite infection that started creeping up his arm .
