From Camping to the Hospital

Hi All,

Just letting you know that I just got home from the hospital. I went on my camping trip last Friday and had fun until we were on our way home on Sunday around lunch time. I was good and stayed in the RV with air most of the time and kept myself cool. Everything was going great until we headed home on Sunday. I had one of my pain attacks and it was horrendous and long. I ended up in the back seat of our Yukon XL writhing in pain until my husband could get me here into town to the ER. I've never had him take me to the ER before, but this time it was different. I had to go. I needed morphine or something strong because the pain and nausea was not letting up after over a half hour. Needless to say, it's Thursday morning and I just got home! First they said I had pancreatis because my lipase(sp) numbers were way high. Then the CT scan of pancreas showed nothing changed from May, except my spleen is bigger and a weirder shape than ever, and they said with everything taken under consideration, it was NOT pancreatis. Yesterday morning I had a biopsy of my stomach and small intestine. No results yet, but doc said my stomach lining was red and inflamed and I had bile in there (not supposed to). My intestine looked o.k. They think the inflammation is probably sarcoid and the bile is from movement problems caused by the sarc. Anyone else have sarc in the stomach or intestines? This is the area where these pain attacks have been killing me so much. So it makes sense to me. I am just so tired of all this. They just tell me "well there is nothing we can do about it if it is the sarc, we're sorry." I am very depressed right now. Please tell me I have the strength to fight this thing that is taking me over so quickly. I ask God for strength everyday, but I'm not doing very good. I haven't had real food since Saturday and I've gained 5 pounds. Go figure. It's all that I.V. cocktail! Yum, Yum!!! ha-ha!!! I'm going to go make myself a piece of toast and boy it sounds sooooo good right now. Hope I can keep it down. I've had enough broth and jello to last a lifetime. I won't be on the computer much, and I came home to over 400 emails so if I missed anyone's, I'm sorry
