Guest guest
Hello and Welcome! Congrats on your pregnancy. I wish you a healthy, happy 9 months! Hugs~ Jackie in MI edd 7*10*04 > Hi Everyone, > My name is and I have recently moved to Minnesota from Arizona as my husband's duty assignment has changed with the Army. I have an open RNY 7/2/01 and have lost 140lbs, still technically about 25lbs about the goal set by my doc. I found out this last August that I am pregnant with our first child and it just dawned on me to look for a yahoogroup to help answer some of my questions about pregnancy and wls. I am my OB's first WLS patient, though he has dealt with patients with some of my other health issues, psoriatic arthritis and fibromyalgia. The first trimester was awful as " morning sickness " was constant, but thankfully I am done with that and able to eat now. So far all tests have come back normal and I will be going for a second ultrasound soon. I will comb through some old posts to get some valuable info, but is there anything that I should be aware of as a preggers WLS patient, especially insofar as tests and things that need to be monitored more closely? > Thanks,

Guest guest
Hi All, I'm posting my first post after a couple of days of lurking. I need help with the steps please. Last Wednesday 7/6, my PCP submitted my paperwork to Oakland with her blessing. On Friday 7/8, she called and said the Oakland folks had approved me. We were very excited and I was happy, I thanked her and hung up the phone. I realized a short time later that I have no idea what that meant. Does that mean I am approved to take tests or that Kaiser has approved payment or something else? Does anyone know or should I call her. She said, get ready for the phone calls, it's on auto-pilot now. I think this is all good, but I really don't know what's next. Can anyone help? Thanks,
