Guest guest
I would think that if this situation had happened to me, where I didnt get the surgery i wanted, where the doctor didnt ask my health care directive what the patient would of wanted to have happen when it was found that the ds couldnt be done that i would be mad as hell too. I don't think that the person this happened to is obessed with medical records . She wants and needs answers to the question she has. Since no one is giving them she has to find them herself. Also I would think she needs the surgeon to say, " yes I did make a mistake, I should of done this and this instead of the way it was handled " . A " I am sorry " would be called for also. The patient needs closure by having the mistake admitted and acknowledged. The anger she has is justfied .... I think she is doing what she can to get her life going again.
