<< Dear Ogretta, n, Jill & others to whom this is relevant-

I don't know...I'm having more success reaching Mt. Sinai folk over the

phone. Even if I leave a voice mail, someone usually gets back to me

promptly. However, I sent an e-mail to Dr. Pomp on May 14th and am still

waiting for a reply.

Just my $ .02...

WEll, from Philly... I may just be eating my words about having

success with e-mails! I sent one out to Ivonne this a.m. about post-op

bloodwork and haven't gotten anything back! :) I'll try calling again.

Really, the e-mail was more efficient a few months ago but maybe they're just

switching everything around on us to be unpredictable! ROFL

Any post-ops: When you got your bloodwork done (especially those who had

bloodwork done from Mt. Sinai since the tests may not be totally identical?)

--- did you have to fast beforehand?

I went to our local Quest Diagnostics to get the blood drawn yesterday and

the lady informed me that I had to fast (NOT for glucose, which I do not need

but for the vitamin and protein tests). I didn't recall getting these

instructions from Ivonne a few months ago when I got the lab papers....I want

to get the labs done and have them ready for my appointment at then end of

the month, so I have to get this done PRONTO>

Thanks for all your help and experience!
