Guest guest
I am at that stage now where I needed to loss x amount of weight before I can get a date for surgery. I have lost 40 pounds on my own but now stuck at just 5-10 pounds to that goal weight. Last Month I was only 3 pounds to goal, but when I called the Baratrics Department in Richmond, I was told to call back when I was at goal....How discouraging, after that I started to feel, maybe I am just fooling myself. My daughter had the surgery three years ago and has lost 240 pounds, she is young, happy and the true beautiful person I always knew her to be. But as for me, am I too old to be considering major changes in my life? I will be 61 years old in just a few months and I am wondering maybe it is too late for me, maybe I should just be contented with my life as it is? Any Senior Citizens out there who had this done? Any regrets?Lucy
