Guest guest
has inched in the healing direction day-by-day. It was ultimately discovered that the infection was BEHIND one of her lungs. (How does THAT happen?) Her red blood cell count got so dangerously low that it was decided to give her a blood transfusion. That had a good effect. Day by day, the astronomically high white cell count has come down. Accordingly, she has been feeling better, and walking. The last time I spoke to her, she was feeling pain at her incision area but she thought it might be because she over-did it that day. She is scheduled to have the incision sewed up tomorrow. She's REALLY ready to go home. I'll check in with her tomorrow and report back how the surgery goes. hugs to all, gobo
