To everyone- Aday in the life of a post op.

I wake up and take my niferex with vit. c without food as I was told. I

wait at least an hour to eat. I go to the bathroom 3 times in that hour and

I walk out smiling. I then attempt the meal I like least and that is

breakfast .I usually eat eggs with matzoh, or lox or egg foo yung(if it is

left over from day before, tuna or something of this nature. I always have a

glass of OJ with calcium and lots of pilp(about 8 oz). I then take my

centrum, adeks, citrical(2 at every meal)and other vitamins I have always

taken. I also take 1000 iu's of vit. D because it was low in my

bloodwork. For lunch- I eat lots of protein-tuna sashimi(Ilove it), New englan

clam chowder soup(Ibuy extra clams from fish store to add), hamburger and

alot of different kinds of protein. I don't eat this all in one meal I am

just giving examples. I eat peanuts in a shell about 2 ounces as a snack most

days.(14 grams of protein) Dinner-veal-filet mignon, spanish seafood in

spanish sauce(very high in priotein) pork etc I eat about 5 to 6 Oz at

dinner. I try to eat a grapefruit everyday. I eat alittle salad But my main

thrust is protein. If I don't think I ate enough protein I drink 2 cups of

milk at night and toot all night long. Well, I hope this helps. I take

vitamins at lunch and at dinner and then Niferex with Vit c every night

before I go to sleep. I take 3 Adeks a day ,, 2 Centrum , 6 calcium 2 at

each mealand others.

BIG QUESTION- When I sit for a long time I build up gas and sometimes

get a horrible cramp. I then release and I feel better. But it is difficult

at someones home. Is that crampy feeling unusual or is it that I dion't let

the gas out at the right time? Well love you all and thanks for all opf your

support.Ellen(Pam
