"I also have the joy of a rare side effect from my allergy med (Zyrtec), I'm hungry ALL the time. This is certainly a different feeling, because I spent most of my life with very little appetite. So it's 11:30 at night, and I'm highly looking forward to breakfast already ;-). "

I find this so interesting. Our elderly cat was diagnosed with kidney disease and had poor appetite. Our vet prescribed an antihistamine pill 2 Xs a day for him.......a side effect of this med in cats is appetite stimulation. It was quite amazing and helpful to him......gave him a good quality of life and contentment for many more months. We have sadly said "good bye" since, but I was unaware of this side effect.....
