Your image of her with a halo and wings is appropos though as she is my own sweet angel. Every time I've gone down to Portland (from Seattle), she has picked me up at the train station and chauffered me around from one surgeon to the next [first Welker and ; then Deviny and ]. I feel so blessed to even know her. ;-) >I'm so glad to hear she's coming along so well in her own >room. Please tell her we're looking forward to hearing from her >when she gets home. Unfortunately, she's not doing as well tonight as she was this AM. When I spoke to her, the epidural had just been taken out so she was still feeling no (or low) pain. By tonight she was in great pain. I don't know if if was all surgery-related or if some of the pain was from her back which has been in pain for almost as long as I've known her. The nurses were putting calls into the doc to get orders for something potent that she can take. I'll post more tomorrow. gobo " Sometimes We Never Know How We Influence the Lives of Others, Yet We Touch Those Lives Just the Same "
