Guest guest
I didn't catch your name! I will answer your questions but really you should go ask on the LDN group. You will probably end up learning a lot more and ask even more questions. Yes, you need a prescription. Many IBD'ers find that the topical cream from Coastal COmpounding pharmacy in Georgia is the way to go- it is in an Emu oil base and has superior absorption due to this; http://www.coastalcompounding.com/ You can also get it in caps- go to a reputable LDN compounding pharmacy as there are certain fillers not allowed on LDN. Since it is compounded you can also have it be SCD compliant. Coastal can answer these questions for you. LDN can be combined with low doses of steroids (like 10mg as that is what the body naturally produces.. some people take it even on a higher dosage of steroids as they taper) No LDN cannot be combined with Remicade/Humira since those are immunosuppressants and they cancel one another out. LDN works really well with anti Candida diets. SCD is perfect for LDN as it is naturally anti Candida. That is why so many SCD'ers are having tremendous success as this really is a diet that eradicates and doesn't feed the bad bugs! http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/lowdosenaltrexone/?yguid=333244357 You need to join. Ask more questions over there. Jodi
