HI a,

I took out a home equity loan to pay for the surgery. I checked just

about every day for a while on the internet air fare sites and found

tickets from Atlanta to Valencia for $787 each. I think people have

found them for cheaper, but I am going right at the start of the

travel season so it makes sense they were a little more. I then went

back and bought separate tickets from Savannah to Atlanta that match

with the times for $89 each. So, even with the added cost of the

flight, it is still much more afordable than self-pay here in the

states (at least for me!). I have told others that the more research

I do, the more I am so happy with my decision to use Dr Baltasar, and

think I probably would chose to self-pay for him now, even if I could

have insurance coverage with some one else. It just feels like such

a perfect fit for me.

Some of the sites I looked on were...travelocity.com, bestfares.com,

priceline.com, and a few others. Keep checking and play with the

dates you can leave and return. I found it is more expensive to

travel on Saturdays, so I am leaving on a Friday and returning on a

Monday. That made a good difference.

Have you joined Dr B's e-group? Tons of great info and support there

also. Also, look on his web site (it's linked on the DS site) and

you will find great info on the procedure, aftercare, etc. I have

been in constant email contact with him. He ALWAYS replies as soon

as he gets the message. He has been so communicative and supportive

already. He will answer any question you have.

When are you thinking of going to Spain? Keep me posted and I will

certainly share my experience when I return.
