LDN Crohn's. Smooth Sailing...Maybe?

I was moving slowly through the phases, scared to progress on this progressive

diet. At a time when I had been fanatical for 8 months I had not eaten raw

veggies or fruit because my trip count may increase from 6 or 7 to 10 or 12.

Scared of so many things. I removed some things that I had tried to add cause I

was fearing that it may be causing problems. August 22 I started LDN. Heaven

sent. Within days things turned around and I make an average of 2 trips early

in the morning and my day is worry free. I re read parts of the book and have a

month later started adding things in. Lettuce, broccoli, pineapple, watermelon.

I am also enjoying eating out more with less dialog with restaurant managers

about the spice content of their mix for the steak I'm ordering or the fact that

the mushrooms need to be cooked extra before putting them into my omelet.

Before, if their was any suspicion about the spices or preparation, I'd go bland

or without. Now I am eating. I know that the positive experience is mostly

because of the LDN but I want to continue to feed the good bugs and starve the

bad. Any suggestions from folks doing the LDN is appreciated. I've gone from

not being able to read my response to foods because I always had a high number

of trips to eating and cheating a little because I always, thanks to LDN, have

about 2 trips. It's like being in class and the teach allows

cheating...........I still don't want to be a cheater. hahaha.
