BPD/DS Now Available in Silver Spring, land

I hope that all Washington, D.C.-area pre-ops are aware that

Marcus, M.D., of Silver Spring, Md., is now offering the BPD/DS, as

M. reported here on April 19. I read about Dr. Marcus in the

New York Times article last October that introduced me to the gastric

bypasses. At that time and when I had my surgery, I'm fairly sure

that Dr. Marcus was offering only the RNY, but he has performed at

least the BPD in the past. In 1998, he performed the BPD on a 690-lb.
