1st Consultation Scheduled and Scared!!!

Hello. My name is Amy. I am 30 yrs old, weigh around 280 at 5 ft 8

inches and have a BMI of 43. I am scheduled for my first

consultation with Dr. Elariny in Arlington, VA on May 21st. I am

scared, nervous and excited all at the same time. Is there anyone

that is going through the same thoughts and fears? I would love to

hear from you and I would love to hear from someone that has already

gone through the procedure and can let me in on some of the things

that I can expect afterwards. All the people that I know where I am

from that have had surgery done have had Open RNY. I want to have

the Duodenal Switch.
