joe, i think you are absolutely right about how to deal with this

situation. i wasn't happy with the hostility or the bigotry, but

didn't want to respond to it either and that's probably the best

way. i have sympathy for people who are so filled with anger

that they will attack anyone who is convenient. often they end

up harming themselves in the process. also, i'm sure that this

support group would be glad to support anyone who would put down

the guns and allow it. thanks for your input!
