Dear Quint,

Its always good to see you post. I got confused just now reading through the posts wondering if this email was sent to me or the other new member "Kim" since she asked about her easy bruising. Thought I would answer it as well in case it was sent out my way, but probably wasnt, I am taking aspirin have been for some time now because of the vasculitis and tias, but thats all. I'm 325mg per day. The Dr I saw who dx the mitral valve damage from the other days reaction said we would discuss the necessity of going onto something stronger when i see him again in a month (2 1/2 - 3 weeks now). So we will see what he says then.

I am worried now my lovely shingles are getting infected, they dont look good. There is red discoloration under the skin surrounding the red patches, but then there seems to be blisters "trapped" under the skin still too. I know , I know , WAY toooooo graphic. Its all so painful. I see the public drs saturday, the beginning of our week here. wish me luck.

Did you stop your seizure meds yet? The tegretal has really seemed to help me now that we have upped the dosage. There is an amazing diffrence. I am very happy with this. I can do all sorts of things without triggering numb lips, tremory limbs, drawn out speech etc. , They did try to go down on another drug at the same time however which brought out the other type of seizures it was controlling the spontanous ocmplex partials and so weve had to hold that drug steady at its current dosage for now. I feel I am on my way to seizure control and really happy to be able to say this and had no idea it was the seizures causing so many of my problems.

Give us an update on you Quint or are you way to busy playing in teh sand and sun?
