i notice the subject of liquid protein has come up. i've been

meaning to write to the list about the subject but have kept

getting sidetracked. so finally, here i go!

i've been thinking that liquid protein could be a good idea for

several reasons:

1) consuming much smaller amount of liquid for same amount of

protein as shakes

2) more portable.

3) can buy predigested protein which is more easily absorbed.

so i bought some, twinlab hydrolyzed collagen protein. it tastes

HORRIBLE!! and is the texture of runny mucous. very gross. but

it has 15 gms of protein for 2 tbls, plus 100% of b vitamins. so

i have been 'practicing', taking it several times a day thinking

i would get used to it and it would eventually go down a little

easier. and i wasn't wrong, it does go down a little easier now,

but i'm still open to finding a better tasting liquid protein.

this stuff costs about 14 dollars for sixteen servings, so i'd

hope to find something comparable.

anyone else tried liquid protein other than the vita4life?

thoughts on the quality of liquid protein?
